Welcome White Wolf, LLC is a venture management company formed between knOwhere Press, Robert Grudin, and Grace Ku in order to develop, market, distribute, license, and steward all tangible and intangible aspects related to The Most Amazing Thing. White Wolf demonstrates an alternative to the traditional way of publishing and promoting books. By creating a ValueWeb® architecture, the artists' work is managed as a collaborative venture, with each member of White Wolf contributing an essential component and, based upon that contribution, given ownership of the company. Unlike a traditional publishing arrangement, in which the author assigns rights in exchange for an advance fee on future royalties, Grudin has assigned the rights of his novel, The Most Amazing Thing, to White Wolf in exchange for a majority ownership in the company. Based upon the distribution of ownership, all members of the company share in the revenues generated by property in all of the forms it may take, including electronic, print, movie, and merchandising. In addition to this fundamental shift in the economic and ownership structure, White Wolf employs a highly refined methodology of collaboration and co-design to the book making process. This way of working, invented, developed and patented by the parent company of knOwhere Press, MG Taylor Corporation, enables levels of collaboration, co-design, and time-compression unavailable to mainstream publishing. As such, this organizational model - which has been used by MG Taylor to create, grow, and facilitate hundreds of business ventures - offers tremendous potential value to all the players in the publishing industry.
